A public service to experimental aircraft builders, hosted by Matthew Mucker.
Recently (November 2002), a thread on the Matronics Zenith email list discussed fellow homebuilders' desires to find homebuilders local to any given area, so that when we go traveling in our airplanes, we would be able to look up homebuilders in the destination area.
I (foolishly) offered to host such a feature on my website. So here it is.
If you have not registered, please do so now! Registering for this website means giving your name, your email address, your telephone number, your ZIP code, your home airport, and the type of aircraft you're building. This allows other builders to find you from this web page and contact you about your homebuilding project when they're in your area. The database is stored on my web server and is as secure from theft as I know how to make it. (Although I am not able to offer any guarantees on privacy, the requested information is not much more than could be had from a telephone book, right?)

(Note: Only ZIP codes and airports in the United States are supported, because I've only been able to find latitude/longitude data for United States ZIP codes and airports. My data sources are here and here. If you know of a source for latitude and longitude information for postal codes or airports in other countries, please email me!)
